Images 2 and 4 work as different people in similar/same environment. Though I would say that image 16 is the better use of space, but have the sitter look into the camera. What is the theme that ties these individuals together? Are they young artist, do they speak about a generation of youth... Look at the portraits of Arnold Newman.
I think the image of the girl painting is working for you, especially with the environment she is in. I wish their was more light in the background too see the detail of it better.
I really like your lighting..I would just take it to another room or something to make it more interesting. I like that you show a range of expressions though..

ReplyDeleteYour composition is pretty well done, I just wish that the lamp wasn't coming out of the top of her head, unless you meant for that.
